so i'll just keep dreaming, dreaming
Who: Braska & YOU
What: Three open starters and one private one!
(1) Braska's door is always open, whether it's for business or chilling with friends.
(2) He's got a lot of learnings to do, about science and other cultures, so the library in the resort is somewhere Braska spends part of his free time.
(3) Machina used for fun??? OMG. Aka, Braska is entirely tickled by everything Mr. Jellicles has to offer.
(4) Braska and Lindir hang out to share songs and stuff.
When: Over the past week
Where: (1) Full Cure (Braska's shop); (2) the resort library; (3) Mr. Jellicles; (4) wherever Braska and Lindir decide to hang out
Notes & Warnings: Will match you for prose or brackets!
Title + cut text song. Gif involving bright colors and stupid dancing under the cut to make the OP feel less empty. Clickit if you wanna see the source.

A sphere is... hmm. Similar, in a way, to the machina that we use to contact the community as a whole, here in Blackway, I suppose.
It is a combination of machina -- technology -- and magic. They are made from a special type of water, and they can be used to record sounds and moving images... and more, but that is more complicated.

My kind rely on only art, music and the written word to aid our memory.

We in Spira are very fond of the kind of stories you share via word of mouth. Books and scrolls are easily destroyed. If we make a story widespread, then it is easier for it to stay.

New scrolls can be made by those who penned the first, save for those who have Sailed to the Undying Lands, or those who perished and passed to the Halls of Mandos.
Even without scrolls we sing out our histories in song.

[He perks up again soon enough.] May I ask about the Undying Lands and the Halls of Mandos? I haven't heard mention of them before.

[The second subject is one that makes Lindir sigh, and his face falls slightly. It was a very sad thing for an immortal to die from battle.]
When one of my kind is slain, or come to great harm through injury or poison, their fëa leave the pain of the body behind and are summoned by Mandos to his Halls. There they await re-embodiment when they are ready to join their kin in Aman.
It is said the fëar of Men may dwell in a separate place in the Halls, and there they await the Second Music.

Everything is connected, [he muses instead.] That is something I can deeply appreciate, even if it isn't much like Spira. It must be a comfort, knowing that you can always turn to peace, a new home, if you grow tired.
