Who: Wander and you
What: Wander trying to make extra buying money for his present
When: Month 10, days 2-8
Where: Various locations in town
Notes & Warnings: Will match for action or prose
If he was going to get a decent gift for the Secret Santa event, he would need more money than what he could get just from his new job. This week, he went around town looking for odd jobs and errands he could do and make a bit of cash here and there.
A - On the major roads.
He had been going door to door of all of the stores, offering to make some deliveries, organize the stacks, anything the owners needed assistance with. The majority refused to let an outsider help with their business, but a few recognized him as that nice fellow that greeted them all the time. In some small stores, Wander is out in the front, cleaning up displays and organizing the shelves, or outside, taking some garbage out.
B - Outside the resort building.
It was time to put his craft skills into good use: if there was anything cheap people would buy, it would be felt star-shaped accessories. He laid out brooches, pins, and stuffed stars on a blanket in front of him and walked around it, calling to those passing by to take one for only a few credits.

Yes. Definitely.
"Afternoon, Niko!" Wander took a break from playing to give him a quick hug. "What're you up to today? Takin' your pet out for a walk?" There was something else the man was holding onto carefully, which wasn't easily seen from the ground.
Re: Yes. Definitely.
He sounds pretty proud of this. Good news, his fluffy creeper prevention cat made a new cat. All the better to keep the big green monsters away.
"And luckily, because it is raised with people, there is less of this whole 'having to tame it with fish' shit." Though admittedly he'd tamed his by accident. Rex, meanwhile, joined Pas in snuffling all over Wander's furriness just because it was a little atypical for humanish noises to come out of something so fuzzy.

Wander clapped his hands together in excitement, now ignoring the curious dog. "Really? What's it's name? How's it look? Is it adorable?" His voice squeaked at the last word.
"Oh, but I'll have to deliver this first. But after that, can I see it?" He was sure the kitten was big enough to see others by now.

"I'm sure. Since is with Boone, maybe we ask him if we can come see it. The ah... father... wetnurse thing... He is not so nice. But my own is pretty friendly."
Which meant that there was a 50/50 chance of Wander getting batted at if he reached for it.

"I promise Ill treat it nice! I'm gonna be its new owner, after all, am I right?" He rested a hand on his hip and twirled a finger as he spoke.

He pulled out his comm to make it. "Just so when we're done talking, he'll know you want to stop by."

"Thanks so much, Niko! This is the greatest thing to happen all week!"
Never mind his chat with a restaurant owner or playing songs for the public. The day he would be getting his pet was nearing.

"So where are you going? Maybe I can give you some company until we get there."

"Well, I was jus' headin' down the street to deliver this here package." He held up the small box he was carrying earlier. "But you can sure as rain come with me!"
He spun on a heel to face the opposite end of the street.

He strolled along after, not meaning to be rude but he didn't really do much to keep the dogs from sniffing at him. It was only when Pas made an attempt to steal his had that he scolded him with, "Ne!"

"So that shopkeeper of that drugstore? He had some medicine he needed deliverin' to this other fella that works down this street. But they're so busy, I had to help 'em out!" He quickened his pace so as not to slow down the others. "Once that's done, I'll be lookin' at the other streets for work."

Which, Niko means Braska. Sadly he hadn't noticed Braska's absence, because despite this cynical bastard's like of kind people Niko had left the strangely quiet man to his own devices.

"It's more of a pharmacy than anythin', really. Lotsa those pills an' such."
I completely lost this tag, I'm so sorry.
He stopped too, perpetual hunger kicking in.
He wondered, briefly, if someone was having Wander deliver something he shouldn't without him knowing. But then he decided that it didn't matter to him really. People sometimes needed stuff, even if that stuff couldn't be gained through legal means. If Wander was doing a delivery, that was cool. Niko had done plenty of special deliveries in his time.

"Yeah, he left a while ago after the skeletons attacked. He had other things to do back home, he said, but he did teach me a bit of his magic!"
He pushed the door open and entered the store. It didn't make any difference as to what was being delivered, but that it was actually delivered.
