Season Finale
Who: Anyone who wants to be involved
What: The official pre-reboot/season end post
When: The spawner activation
Where: At the resort
Notes & Warnings: If anyone wants to play out any rescue scenarios involving the skeleton archers, there's a thread available for that/accounting for what happened as well. Violence as a general warning and whatever other warnings are mentioned.
EDIT: It can be noted that, once exposed to sunlight, the skeleton archers start to deteriorate. This can be discovered in the course of the threads.

THE SPAWNER IS ACTIVATED
In fact it's almost predictable that the mundane and average humdrum of activity that something would disturb it- out of every dark shadowed place (storage closets, rooms where the lights are turned off, under extremely dark overhangs) come creatures. So long as someone isn't sitting immediately in the area where they can see it happen, a skeletal figure with a bow and arrow will spawn.
Their skulls are a bit rounder at the top than a human's, and the four eye holes and nostril holes are exceptionally large. The spawner that created them is faulty- their aim is sloppy, their movements are loud and clattering, they now aren't the best form of protection. But those arrows do hurt, and there is a lot of them.
Someone needs to destroy the spawner below the city for the attack to end, and in the meantime whoever is available need to help protect the citizens of Blackway because they are dying out there.
(Anywhere, ota)
With a healthy dose of anger, Grainne summoned up all of her energy and went out to wage war, of a sort. There were people no doubt trapped out there, and with her abilities, the skeletons weren't very difficult to dispatch one by one. Every time she got hit, though, she kept jumping back...
Probably nothing a bit of steak won't cure.
Wielding her water spheres seemed to exhaust her more than usual, though, as she made her way through the resort and into Town

"What is this bullshit..." he muttered under his breath, before he saw her fighting too.
"Hey, over here. I can get your back if you get mine." She wasn't patrol but he'd settle for anybody at this point.

"Do you know what's happening? Where are these things coming from?" There just seemed to be more and more.

That part was pretty concerning. He popped out a glowing clip on whatever ray gun that was and slammed in a new one. "Somethin' damn weird is goin' on. They don't seem very smart."

Operation: Rescue Bertie
His hat felt unbalanced on his head so he removed it to have a look. An arrow was shot right through it. (It was his favorite trilby, too, he thought with mournful sigh as he put the hat, arrow still in it, back on his onion.)

"If this is an early All Hallow's Eve dress party, I don't like it. Why, it's madder than boat race night out here."

Throughout the residential areas, OTA
The moment he heard about the skeletons spawning in , he ran through the main roads, begging everyone to either head to the resort or to large shelters in or out of the city where they must stay in groups. He only knew that the skeletons didn't show up in places that had a lot of people, so hopefully sticking together would prevent more casualties.
Each time he guided a group to a more populated area, he headed by himself back to the streets looking for anyone that might be straggling or injured.
OTA
And so he changed the setting on his staser so it would pack a more powerful (and fatal) punch and waded into the fray. If he saw someone in immediate danger of losing their life, he'd help where he could, but his primary goal was to seek out the source and for that he couldn't let himself be distracted by the chaos or by others in peril.

Part of him did want to make sure they were preserved for later-- btit was a sensible part, that wanted to survive, thanks.
"Narvin, can you see where they're getting in?"
no subject
Still holding his staser in one hand, he pulled out a scanner with his other and aimed it at one of the skeletons, taking readings, gathering data, anything that might help determine where they were coming from.

DEPARTURE OFFERS
Jeffers makes this announcement to the resort as a whole:
Announcements are made throughout the day. Surprisingly, this is home to many residents of Blackway and they're choosing to stay. Jeffers has no problem maintaining the resort as an AI. But soon they'll be physically cut off from the outside universe and have to rely on news broadcasts. For people that were brought in by the resort, they will be supplied with an exit ticket. If they choose to use it, they can go home or choose to leave with someone. They are also informed that when the resort is functional again, due to their exemplary performance they will be asked to return.
DEPARTURE OFFERS - network, public.

[LOG | Closed to Craig Boone]
[But Niko, he doesn't really have anywhere else to go. He supposes one day they'll lift his quarantine, but what's his best hope? It doesn't matter. Not really. Nothing matters and he's going to find himself alone again- he didn't even fuck up this time! It's not fucking fair.]
[He's carrying a fluffy furball of a beast with him as he enters the resort, bee-lining for Boone's room. It's bigger than the last time Boone saw it probably, rounder around the midsection, and luckily hid through the attack of the skeleton archers.]
[He uses his free hand to knock on the door, sighing heavily out his nose.]

So when Niko knocks on the door, his thoughts are mostly of home. He's packed a few things away, but not much. He's been helping out with the skeleton problem, wearing the armour he found inside that temple. When he answers the door, his eyes immediately fall on the beast in his arm.]
Hey. Your cat got fat.

[He holds out the fuzziness towards Boone, offering the animal.]
Getting ready to head back?

Log | OTA
His usual energy is gone. He's glad that so many folks reached safety, but the constant running around took its toll, and Wander woke up feeling a bit sore. The gardens were the perfect place to rest and to think about his options.

Bertie is dressed for travel, in a brown suit of Harris tweed, a brown hat, leather gloves, and a whangee hooked around his wrist.
no subject
Wander puts on a smile. "Mornin', Bertie!"" Unlike himself, Bertie doesn't seem all that bothered by the events of yesterday. He has to admit that he admire the Englishman's ability to stay so composed all of the time.
"I got all antsy stayin' in my room, so I though, hey!, why don' I go out for a walk? An' after all that runnin' yesterday I really needed to do somethin' relaxin'." He takes note of his friend's stylish outfit. "You goin' out to town today?"
