The Undying Lands are also known as Aman, or the Blessed Realm. It is where the Valar reside, and where the Eldar have been invited to live. Those of us who reside in Middle-earth know that if we grow too weary of heart, we may sail there to the land of peace and rest. Though if we do so it is not permitted to return.

When one of my kind is slain, or come to great harm through injury or poison, their fëa leave the pain of the body behind and are summoned by Mandos to his Halls. There they await re-embodiment when they are ready to join their kin in Aman.

It is said the fëar of Men may dwell in a separate place in the Halls, and there they await the Second Music.
