Who: Ashe and Niko | Ashe and Open
What: Bowling with Niko | Having a couple drinks at The Rising Sun
When: M12D7
Where: Mr. Jellicles & The Rising Sun
Notes & Warnings: Possible NPC Interactions with Dorian if you guys want, just let me know in the header. Also pretty sure if anyone wants to jump in on the bowling post thats cool.
[Semi-closed to Niko] Mr. Jellicles
Ashe had spent the past few days busy, trying to not just work, but to make some money on the side to make sure he was not flat broke when he decided to look into one of those bikes. The sad fact of the matter is that with his curse he didn't really HAVE to sleep, nor did he HAVE to eat he just feels more human doing so. So he had been of the radar even missed the days of strangers around because he had kept himself busy.
A message had been sent to Niko and tonight he had washed the paints off his face, had his hair pulled back in a loose messy pony tail his hair had a little bit to go before it would necessarily need to be pulled back but it was bothering him tonight and he decided to just tie it up and ignore it. He was dressed in a pair of faded black jeans and an old Metallica shirt. Yeah, he brought his clothes from home at least what had survived when he moved here, a jean jacket over that and motorcycle boots to finish off the look.
Granted at the moment he was busy changing those boots for proper shoes to wear for this while he waited for Niko.
[ Open] Rising Sun
Later in the evening Ashe was sitting, his hair pulled down again, a glass of whiskey sitting in front of him. He wasn't brave enough to try the space juices just yet. He was only idly listening to the pale owner of the bar muttering about which bands were superior, Ashe figured it was sparked by the logo on his shirt and normally he would love to listen to someone's thoughts. Tonight had been awesome till he got home and made the mistake of letting his mind wander, which lead to another read through of Sarah's journal, and looking through what was left of Danny's art work. He knew he did the right thing, but he would never be with them. He would never cross over, so tonight he was wasting some of that hard earned money on a means to numb the pain.
[ Anything else? ]
Feel free to start your own thing here if you wanna see Ashe~!

Rising Sun
She drifted into the bar like a ghost, with unnatural grace that even many of the non-humans in Blackway had a hard time matching, and sat on a barstool. The glances she gave the room weren't like ones from someone expecting trouble or trying to find exits, but more out of curiosity.
However human she looked on the surface, she emanated a strong spiritual signature.

Something about her made the hairs at the back of his neck rise. He looked at her but was not sure what to say.
Meanwhile the strange creature actually waiting the bar asked what her poison would be.

Finally, she spoke, without looking over. "Ashe, isn't it? If you are thinking of an introduction, it's all right. We spoke over the network."

He felt a little embarrassed by it and was trying to push the view of his depression back away. he hated letting others see his pain. He was a spirit of vengeance, but it was pain that fueled him.

"Well, that's two for two. I hadnt thought about whether you were human or not. Still, thanks for telling me." He spoke as he sat the drink he was holding down and looked to her with a light smile in place.

WOW the notif never came Im so sorry!
no worries!
"I am doing well tonight, as much as I can for being a dead woman. I suppose we can be dead together?" She said, returning joke for joke. "And you? How are you faring?"
no subject
He chuckled some, "Sure, if that is what you would like. So, what got you?" He asked as he took his hand back, propt it on the bar and rested his head on it. "I am quite well, if only a bit spacey." He admitted.

He chuckled and offered a bit of a smile as he laid out three cards motioning to her. "I agree, luckily I am not drunk. Pick a card, memorize it if you would."
no subject
She fell into silence and considered the cards, picking one up and looking at the face. "Are you a card expert?"
no subject
"Card Expert? No, not so much. I'm a magician. Now." He held the whole deck over. "shuffle it back in, but keep that card in mind."
SORRY wrong account
Bemused, she took the deck and shuffled her chosen card into it, keeping her eyes on it. "That would make two of us. I believe it has been almost two thousand years since I lasted walked Earth as a mortal. What do you think? My beauty secrets must be working."

But the socialization was familiar, pleased him. Ashe looked more well put together than him effortlessly- Niko was, at heart, a slob. And when he saw him he broke into a the friendliest look that hardened face could muster and offered him a hand.
"Hey." He greeted, tersely, just glad to see him under better circumstances.
no subject
"Hey, sorry I went AWOL on you." He apologized. "How've you been?"
no subject
"What about you? Where did you go?" Cleaning up like everyone else, he guessed.
no subject
"I didn't go anywhere I was just picking up a bit of sidework. Keeping myself busy. I figured I'd try to have some money before you showed me those bikes."
no subject
"I never bother with the shoes." He admitted, and paid so they could go and choose a lane. "You want to handle the beer?"
no subject
"What kind you want?" He asked as he walked backwards towards the consessions stand, he liked eye contact when talking.
no subject
"Did you have a lot of friends back home, before things changed?"
no subject
"No, I didn't have any friends anymore." He admitted as he tested the weight. "The crowd I ran with before Danny was born was not the kind of people you want around a child. Adrenalin junkies, and drug addicts. His mother was a addict, that and my own choices about our mutual friends after she died. I cut them off for Danny's sake. Started the garage and never looked back. Sure I missed the old races some days but it was worth it."

Could have started a family, since he didn't have a chance. The topic was a little heavy for bowling, and Packie- Packie was just the type of guy Ashe was referring to, and he had abandoned Niko after his sister died. Somehow, though-
"Do you still miss some of them?"
no subject
"Weeds not all that bad. I'm talking Heroine and worse. These were hard addicts. The kinds that would rob their mother's for one more hit. The city of Angels was actually pretty bleak."
He looked to Niko as he took a drink from the beer. "How come you didn't start a family if you had a chance."
no subject
Serious discussion over bowling, but miraculously it made Niko's next shot a strike. Like he had it out for those pins.
no subject
Ashe sat down his drink, standing as he clapped amused at the strike, standing to go grab a ball as well. "You're pretty good at this."
no subject
"His life was terrible. So I let him live. I let him live because I wanted his death to be slow and painful."
