As soon as the sun had set Nina Simone's cover of House of the Rising Sun started to blast out of the sound system clear as crystal as the doors were proped open. The club was open to any and all with a simple set of rules by the door the biggest written on fancy text 'The Rule of Haven; All within will be given due respect, violence shall not be premitted inside the doors of the building.' It was one of the few Kindred Laws he still embraced.

Tonights drinks were half priced and the music was pumping everything was set to be fun and full of mischief. Everything in the club was fueled with black lights and made to look classy but fun. Dorian wanted to give the place a retro feel while still not pushing too far back in time. So he had found a compromise. Black lights and modern motif.

The owner himself was sitting at the bar in a red fur coat and black suit. He looked amused out at his club. He was drinking tea from a pretty tea cup just looking amused. Funny how he doesn't drink often but owns a bar.

Wander grinned at the other man's apparent excitement. He must try to make Dorian his friend as soon as possible.

"Wine sounds good!" Spirits made from fruits were kind of sweet, so maybe this "wine" was also sweet? "But...you really don' have to do this all for me. I'll pay for it myself."

One thing was still bothering him. "Say, 'bout not bein' human anymore: I never heard of someone changin' species like that."

He would say magic was involved, but from where he was from, the most that magic (or what he assumed to be magic) wasn't powerful enough to do something like change what you were. Blowing things up and disguising yourself, yes, but extreme reality-warping events were usually linked to the environment, not people, unless you were a cosmic entity with the ability to change the fabric of the universe...

"Did some powerful fella do this to you? Make you all humany but not human?"
