When: First thread after this thread with Tuco when Belloq was announcing Niko's "death." All other threads after Niko returns alive and well.

"Just curious about our working relationship now," she says as she stands up. "I don't really like working for people that plan to stab me in the back once it's useful."

[archeologue]

"Then it sounds as though you have already made a decision. You do not trust me."

[ratkicker]

"I don't." She crosses her arms. "But I'm glad I found out who you really were before I got hurt, too."

[archeologue]

"You never gave me cause."

He opens the door to his office.

"A friendly tip: if you sell artifacts to the Orions, they will pay you very well for them, but never let them control you too closely. That is where I went wrong."

[ratkicker]

She leans on the doorframe, but doesn't enter. "So you're blaming the Orions for what happened to Niko?"

[archeologue]

"The Orions were a major contributor to events." A non-answer answer.

[ratkicker]

He's shifting the blame, she decides. Either way, she's not dealing with either of them again.

"I'll be heading back to my place. You'll need someone else to document your digs from now on," she says before turning away from him.

[archeologue]

"I suspect I will not be digging again for a long time in any event."
