She's starting to wonder if Wander would rather not do this at all, but since he hasn't called it off and has found a place for the kitten, she decides not to suggest that unless he does.

Instead, she nods at his compromise. Really, she isn't worried about how many games she gets to play. Part of her is telling her that she's too old for that kind of thing anyway, especially without Rusty's encouragement, and she's going more to explore a bit and meet people anyway.
