Fortunately for Wander, Elle was a softy. Folks usually ignored him when we was trying to look adorable, but then again, he typically pulled the "look I'm adorable" card on Sylvia when convincing her to do something. It almost always worked then.

But Elle getting excited over the little stars was enough to convince him to lower the price, just for her.

"Well, right now they're all one hundred emeralds, but if you really want this, I can give it away for jus' fifty." He takes one of the stars near him. "I can hold onto one if ya'd like!"

Elle wants a star and by golly, he'll make sure she gets one!
