[While Wander would never pass up the chance to meet people from different planets and learn about their worlds, he's not running around from group to group introducing himself. Instead, he's sitting by the side, tuning the banjo in his lap and giving it a few strums.

Once he's pleased with the tuning, he makes himself comfortable and begins to play a slow, relaxing tune loud enough to be heard by everyone near him but not so much as to drown out their conversation.

As he finishes one song, he realizes that some of the guests might want to give him some change for his music, so he removes his hat and lays it beside him, continuing onto another song and humming along.]

[Charon's really just passing through, checking out the area for anyone causing trouble. Or anyone who looks like they'd cause trouble.

It just so happens he had been keeping an eye on a particular group of drunks when he stops by Wander, standing there with his arms crossed as he watched the from a distance. It might look like he stopped to listen to the tunes (and he does still have a little bit of taste for music), but really, he's working.]

[Wander looks up at one point in his song and smiles at the sight Charon standing near him. How nice that this grumpy fellow felt like stopping by to listen to the music even though he didn't want to show it.

Wander shifts his playing to a series of simple chords before talking as not to interrupt the music.]

Evenin', sir. How's your patrollin' goin'?

[Charon's gaze doesn't shift from the group, and at first he doesn't even realize Wander's talking to him. When it hits him, he spares him a quick and irritated glance.]

It's going.

[If he were anyone but himself, he could have probably answered, "aside from a couple of people getting out of hand, good!" But he's not, so he doesn't really have a proper answer.]

[Either Wander doesn't notice the irritated look, or he just doesn't mind.]

You remember to take time to kick back and relax?

[Because Charon looks like the type that takes everything too seriously.]
