Besides the children, there's a massive alien scooping candy off the sidewalks. It's wrapped in a cloak but towers over them, easily big enough to pick up a child in one hand if it wanted to.

Flies buzz around it. It drips a mixture of red and brown, and parents are herding their children away from it. It seems to be ignoring them.
